There's only 99 days left to the election. Quick time is everything here. Therefore, we need a person who:
1. Can be vetted quickly. Walz is retired US Army Command Sargent-Major so he must have a security clearance already.
(BTW, Command Sargent-Major is the highest enlisted rank there is. Each Service Branch has one enlisted person in this position, but there is only one such person per branch. That is a BFD in the military. The CSM is the bridge bis between the enlisted ranks and the Command Structure; he knows the difference between kissing arses of the officer corps and kicking asses with the troops so he will be good at following orders and issuing orders. BTW someone called him a Master Sargent (Ret). He was way above that. )
2. Is articulate and thinks quickly on his feet, yet is obviously quite "folksy." We don't need to hem and haw over issues. The other side is anti-everything and morally bankrupt. We need some more bumper sticker material in addition to "weird."
3. Represents the rural interests America having been in Congress for 12 years from rural Minnesota.
4. Is a progressive in conservative's clothing. His Minnesota record is quite good.
Finally, my daughter, son, and son-in-law all lived in MN as adults....although all have left now....and they seem to not have been adversely affected by the experience.

I'm guessing that the cc's of my brain make it larger than that of the Ruby Throat Hummingbird, although sometimes my
wife would argue otherwise.
Yet this year when black ants took over my feeder, literally engorging and killing themselves en masse in the liquid and
scaring my little friends away, I decided to give the feeder a rest by taking it down for awhile from the rain chain where it
hung.
After coming back several times to the now vacant spot over a week or so, a female Ruby Hummer flew to the "spying"
window, met me eye-to-eye, lecture lingering me for a full half minute or so as if to say: "Yo, Big Brain, figure out how to make
this thing work."
Whereupon I dutifully Rube Goldberged a bent wire to give the feeder some separation from the rain chain.
One hour later, Lady Ruby rewarded me for being so quick to learn what she wanted.
Green Bay Packers' Jordan Love's future. If he were to seek another line of work, he could be:
- your neighbor who makes a living helping get your car out of snow drifts in Packerland
- a baker 'cause he'll be handling a lot of dough next year after his rookie contract is up
- a financial planner who could advise gamblers on what the odds really are
- a motivational consultant or counselor for underachievers
- a poster boy for all professional quarterbacks named Aaron Rogers on what humble pie is
Bolton's Privatization of Patriotism
It’s so sad to see that now Bolton has commercialized the information he could have freely given to the House Impeachment Committee. He withheld relevant facts to make a buck off of them.
There apparently is no one in the Republican Party any more who could be a hero for America. Sen. Sam Ervin (R-NC) was during the Nixon era. I’m a Dem and at that time I could see for myself what character and a conscience and patriotism looked like in real time.
Where has that DNA gone?
